Talk with Dr. Yael Baldwin and Kenn Kotara

Kenn Kotara’s new frottage work invites the viewer to problem-solve by

identifying a subject in the art piece. It’s like finding a face in a gnarled tree

trunk, or seeing an animal in a cloud.

Psychologist Dr. Yael Baldwin will discuss the science behind the Pareidolia

phenomenon of identifying a recognizable pattern in the visual world. Why do

we do this? Is there a benefit? Does it enhance curiosity? Does it keep the

mind agile. Come join us and see what imagery you can find in Kenn’s art.
